As you can see in the Diary above, we plan a trip for every Sunday or weekend. We hire minibuses and drive ourselves rather than rely on public transport. This allows us to offer Sunday trips for just £7 this term. Of course, the real benefit in this is that we can stop off at a chip shop on the way home!

We hold a social in a different pub every Monday. We're spoiled for choice when it comes to good pubs in Lancaster and this is pretty much the best way to enjoy the variety on offer. Don't worry if you're not into drinking as there is no pressure whatsoever to drink alcohol as we go out to socialise rather than get 'wasted'.

We're a large club but not at the expense of familiar faces. We're always happy for you to come along to our socials and meet us in the Faraday Foyer on weekdays. We're easy to find and always happy to see a fellow hiker.

The Club is full of tradition and in the first term alone you can look forward to the Coniston bunkhouse social weekend in the Lakes, Glencoe social weekend in Scotland and the annual Christmas Dinner.
