On Monday 21st June at 7PM in Bowland North Seminar Room 6 we’ll be holding our termly Planning Meeting as well as by-elections for our Secretary and Safety Officer Executive positions.

The Planning Meeting is your chance to help decide which pubs and hiking locations we’ll be visiting each week next term. All members are welcome to contribute suggestions and discuss which locations would be best in which weeks.

If you’re interested in becoming our new Secretary or Safety Officer please pop down to Faraday Foyer any weekday between 1-2PM by Monday to have a chat with us about what it involves and to get yourself nominated for the position.

Our Secretary is responsible for taking minutes at weekly Executive meetings, sending a weekly newsletter to our members and keeping our membership list up-to-date. Our Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring we comply with our safety procedures on Club activities.

All Club members present will be allowed one vote for each position for one person or to re-open nominations.
