Next Tuesday, 28th February, Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) will be coming to campus to give us a talk. This is a great opportunity to what great work our local MRT does in keeping you guys safe on the hills! The talk with start at 6:30pm in Bowland North Seminar Room 10, and last about 45 minutes. They will also be bringing a Land Rover along so we can have a look at some of their equipment. The talk is completely free and you don’t need to sign up, just come along!
Bowland Pennine MRT provides 365-day Mountain Search and Rescue service in both the rural and urban districts of Lancashire, and beyond when assisting other teams. Take a look at their website to find out more about them.
