Hopefully we’ve managed to get you itching to go on a hike. No need to worry because we have another fun trip lined up every term weekend.

Signing-up is simple. Visit us in Faraday Foyer any weekday 1-2PM.

Trip sign-ups start two weeks in advance, so for the trip next weekend, sign-ups start this Monday. So, sign-up for the trip in Week 8 will begin on Monday Week 7 at 1PM. Get down early to avoid disappointment!

You need to bring your yellow membership card, or give it to a friend to sign up on your behalf if you can’t make it. Weekly emails will tell you how much to bring along. Weekend trips are around £30 but Sunday trips are always an affordable £9. You’ll be asked to select a pick-up point and, for a weekend trip, what gear you need to borrow.

Reserve List and Refunds

If all the available spaces on the minibus are already taken you can sign-up anyway and be added to a reserve list. This allows you to take part if we find another driver and can fill another minibus, or if someone from the main list drops out. We’ll contact you quickly if this happens using a contact number provided.

We regret that if you decide to drop out we cannot necessarily give you a refund as this would affect our budget and be unfair to others to suddenly cancel a trip due to your drop-out causing a loss. If you wish to drop-out please let us know as soon as possible. If we have enough time to tell someone on the reserve list that they can go then you may have a refund. Therefore, if you’re on the reserve list it’s advised to have your gear ready for the weekend.

Of course, if a trip needs to be cancelled or you were on the reserve list and weren’t given the chance to replace someone, visit us after the trip to get your refund.
